The painted walls of Level 1.9.

Level 1.9 is a sublayer of Level 1, being similar in design but now completely covered in murals.

Description

Level 1.9 appears similar to Level 1, except the walls are now completely covered in various colorful murals of different crudely-drawn art pieces. Most of these murals do not follow any uniform structure, being entirely random and nonsensical—not unlike those found on its parent level. When a direct line of sight is broken with any of these murals, they are prone to sporadically changing appearance and design. Studies are to be conducted in order to examine more thoroughly about Level 1’s anomalous murals. As of now, nothing of note has been discovered, albeit some wanderers well-versed in studying art pieces have noticed a similarity between these murals and the paintings made by The Artist.

Cans of Smiler Exterminator can be found within cardboard boxes that appear alongside some walls, as well as other colored cans of spray paint. There are however no hostile entities that reside here, making it relatively safe as long as one has a plentiful amount of food and water.

Bases, Outposts, and Communities:

There are no known bases, outposts, or communities residing on this sub-layer.

Entrances and Exits:

To enter, you must find a crude drawing on Level 1 and go close enough to entirely fill your vision with it. Following this method there is a small chance that your surroundings will morph themselves into that of Level 1.9 upon looking away.

To exit, you must find a door that leading to either Level 2, or rarely the Debug Room.
