Level 1,666 - "Deepest Depths"

Level 1,666 is the 667th level of Cluster II. It was first discovered and miraculously survived by an anonymous Discord user.

Description:

Level 1,666 appears as a deep, underground cavern that is unsettlingly similar to ancient depictions of Hell and the Underworld. Filled with magma pools and spouts of flowing lava, the temperature is extremely hot, ranging from 48 °C (120 °F) to 93 °C (200 °F).

Some areas are extremely spacious, with cliffs hanging over large oceans of magma. Stalactites and stalagmites are everywhere, and the walls are dripping with a corrosive substance eerily similar to Liquid Pain. Air is thin and oxygen is sparse, mostly being replaced with toxic substances. The air is said to smell overwhelmingly metallic to the point of being completely putrid, and particles of the same substance coating the walls is also said to be in the air. Caution is advised to avoid slipping; and you should wear heavy gear and never take off your shoes.

The distant screams of the damned can be heard occasionally, along with the sounds of crackling fire and ringing church bells. It is unknown where these sounds originate. Additionally, brick structures can be found; which can vary from small empty residences to impossibly large fortresses. These areas are filled to the brim with entities, however they can have a surplus of valuable resources. You can also find gravestones which can appear as crosses or other headstones. The rock that these structures are made from are said to be the same material that makes up the rest of the cavern.

Level 1,666 is said to be infested with all kinds of dangerous entities, many being exclusive to Cluster II. Hellbounds, Pace Walkers, and Ambassadors are some of the most common, as well as Twitchflies; which were originally thought to be exclusive to Level 1,015. Furthermore, many have even reported seeing mythological entities such as imps or other demonic beings. These beings are extremely hostile, and will resort to practicing gruesome torture methods on most wanderers. Much of these torture methods are also personalized to the wanderer in question. It should also be noted that it is much more difficult to die on this level, leaving many people left in unimaginable pain.

Entrances and Exits:

Due to the lack of evidence and detailed reports, it is unknown how to enter this level. However, there is a theorized entrance on Level 1,017. The only known way to leave is to attempt to rise your elevation by going only through hallways that lead upwards. It is unknown where this takes you, but it is rumored to transport one to the next Level.
