Level 169 is the 170th level of the backrooms and theorised to be one of the first ones discovered. Despite this, many of its properties are unknown.
Description:
Level 169 looks like a tall hotel somewhere in the desert. Some wanderers think it's very similar to that of California. In the hotel, the first thing you enter is the reception, which looks pretty standard. On the same floor is a lounge, with a bar and a casino. The bar is full of wine. Besides all this, the rest of the rooms of the above floors are typical hotel rooms, with a penthouse on the top. The rooms seem normal in the first few floors, but as you progress, they get more bizarre, that being there slowly are less things in the rooms, and also there are writings on the wall, written by people who have gone insane. Some writings include "THE BACKROOMS IS MY HOME" "YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE" "SUCH A LOVELY PLACE" and "PLEASE BRING ME MY WINE". Some of the more confusing writings are still being researched. That being, the only known entities of Level 169 are Insanities, obviously, but many people have been known to perish in this level.
Colonies And Outposts
The Outsiders
Outside the hotel is a small group of 14 people known as the outsiders, who have refused to ever leave this level. They are a little aggressive to new explorers.
The Captain
There is a theory that a man known simply as "The Captain" is in the bar of the hotel. The Captain looks like a normal person, but is suspected to be a very dangerous entity that can kill you, or send you to the Secret Level "The Deadrooms" . It is still unconfirmed.

Entrances
Level 169 can be entered by either fainting in The Hub or by walking far enough in Level 80 on a dark desert highway until you feel cool wind in your hair.
Exits
To leave, go back to Level 80 or go down the next highway close to the hotel, and make it to Level 132.
