Photo of Level 216
Level 216 is the 217th Level of The Backrooms.
Description
Level 216 is a seemingly endless house consisting mainly of living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens; there are several stairs to access new floors from, from which you can also access the basement. The walls are tinted with an almond-like color, and the stair railings are all white.
The floor's material is mostly inconsistent; it ranges from carpet to a greenish marble-like floor; these changes only apply to every few rooms, but the kitchen and the living room are not included. The house itself has many windows, like one usually has, except that sometimes they may be placed irregularly, like in front of the sink, near the walls of the stairs, or in the basement.
Many of these windows are mostly blocked off, though, but you can still open them, and by doing so will reveal an empty void of darkness, the windows cannot be opened, but even if you could i wouldn't recommend that. The way that the windows are shut off vary, it can be blocked off by blinds, or by curtains.
There are very few lights inside Level 216's house, but its mostly good enough to be able to see and explore it, and speaking of exploring, sometimes the stairs may lead nowhere, just leading to a wall for no reason, exactly how a dream would function, but you're not really dreaming this time.
The Level is known for it's comfiness, though most of what they say is untrue, Level 216 has a thing for manipulating others into staying here, it inserts certain nostalgic thoughts inside your head and makes you remember the very same feeling of being in your grandmother's house, and your childhood.
There is a faint, but calming tune in the distance of Level 216, the origins of the music is still uncertain, and most people who have heard it don't recognize it at all, just like listening to mall music, you have heard it but you never know the name, and you never hear it ever again.
You can come across bedrooms at the end of hallways, or in other floors, usually a door is not present to the room itself, though in very unique cases they do, the room is compromised with, a single bed, a bent roof, and a single Chandelier, there is a light switch and also a single outlet from which you can use to charge your phone, or connect it to something else.
Most of the doors present in Level 216 are the same; they are always white, and the only difference between other ones is that a few have yellow handles, while others have silver-colored ones.
The Living Room can be accessed from the kitchen, by entering a white door that is usually present in the room, it consists of 2 Couches, a single wooden table, a fan hanging from the wall, windows, and outlets, the Couches are facing over the wall, as if someone took the TV away from the room.
From here it is very common to find an extension of the Living Room, usually consisting of even more couches and tables, and a lot more outlets to use from.
The Basement can be accessed from the stairs; the room consists of a single ceiling light, a dark room that is naturally open once you enter The Basement, this very same dark room is near a closed door, which in every case has been locked. But they can be opened if you find the key which can be found in the House's Drawers.
There is also an extension from The Basement; the Bathroom, which has a few Drawers, a Fridge, and a Washing Machine; the room is lit up by the single windows present in the room, which are unnaturally bright compared to the other ones, that only reveal a black void. There is though, a light bulb in The Bathroom, though it's turned off.

- One of the only exits from Level 216 is through the locked door from the Basement, the entire room is dark and any kind of flashlight will cease to function, once you reach light again you'll locate yourself in Level 217.
- Finding an entrance to the Attic could possibly get you to Level 19.
- Another exit from Level 216 is by sleeping in one of the beds, though this is not always the case, and the Level it sends you in while you're dreaming is undetermined.
