SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY:
Class 3
- {$one}
- {$two}
- {$three}
The vending machine in the starting room.
The point when the unsuitability of the hallway first becomes noticeable.
Level 390 is the 391st level of the Backrooms and is an oddly structured room that leads to an unstable 15-kilometre hallway. It is impossible for more than one person to be on this level at a time.
Description
The starting room of Level 390 contains 2 machines that will be vital to your exploration and survival on this level. These being the vending machine, and a machine wanderers have dubbed "The Petri Dish Dispenser". The Petri Dish Dispenser is a large, metal cube with a yellow button in the middle. Pressing this button will manifest a Petri dish right next to the machine. The vending machine does not accept currency, and instead only accepts a single Petri dish filled with Almond Water per soda can, thus forcing the decision of how much Almond Water they are willing to sacrifice to gain the sodas which guarantee their survival.
A grey door can be found in the room, which leads to the second part of this level known as "the hallway". Although this hallway starts relatively normal, it will become more unstable the longer you stay inside it. The only way to put the hallway back into a stable state is through drinking the soda mentioned previously. Drinking soda sparingly is of utmost importance.
Instability will often start to show itself through shadows moving on their own, the lights seeming to flicker or quickly change colour despite no proper change being spotted in the hallway's actual lights, and the floor seeming to move. As this goes on, it will evolve into the walls rapidly changing material, wanderers feeling breathing behind them, and eventually patches of darkness. It is at this point it is suggested to start drinking the soda until either all signs of instability go away or its limited to early signs of instability. All effects of instability within the hallway after this point are too unpredictable to properly list common signs of.
Although entities within this level are exceedingly rare, Smilers can sometimes be found within the aforementioned patches of darkness.

Entrances And Exits
Entrances
Level 390 can be entered via doors that resemble vending machines on Level 290 and Level 859. Next to these doors is writing on the wall describing basic information one would need to know about this level.
Exits
At the end of a hallway, a white door will be found that leads to the famous Level 369. Wanderers will enter Level 390 commonly as an attempt to reach Level 369, oftentimes leading themselves to their death.
