Level 411 is the 412th level of the Backrooms, appearing as an infinite industrial complex of no known function. It was officially discovered on 2/21/2026, by an unknown group.
Description:
Level 411 is a spacious, industrial facility complex; showcasing polished concrete floors and white-painted walls. Lining the high ceilings are an array of pipes and industrial halogen light fixtures, illuminating much of the environment. A distant machinery ambience is present, which always seems to emanate from the walls despite some rooms being devoid of machinery. Poles lined with yellow and black stripes are propped against some walls, along with occasional decorative objects such as empty bulletin boards or fire extinguishers.
The size and architecture of Level 411 can vary from room to room, with some areas being large and open while others are small and compact. Staircases and ladders lead to higher and lower levels of the facility, along with steel mezzanine platforms included in some rooms. Machinery such as forklifts, bridge cranes, and various assembly parts can be found occasionally, which can be operated as usual. Doors line many of the walls, usually with some metallic frame or handle present. These doors can be opened to lead to small isolated rooms or even more hallways. Glass panes divide certain corridors, most of which have proven to be indestructible.
A faint, metallic scent of ozone permeates the level, however it has not been proven to be toxic. It is still advised not to breathe large amounts of this air for prolonged periods of time, as the effects are still unknown. The lighting fixtures are also known to cause migraines in some individuals, albeit only setting in after staring at the lights for a considerable amount of time. Due to the lack of a day/night cycle and blaring ceiling lights, keeping a consistent sleep schedule can be somewhat difficult without proper shelter. Furthermore, it is unknown what exactly the type of facility is, due to the differing pieces of equipment and their purposes.
As for entities, they seem to be somewhat rare. Hounds and Dullers have been seen occasionally, however they can be easily avoided. Additionally, supplies such as food and drink items1 can be found within large commercial refrigerators, restocking every so often.
