Level 539 is the 540th Level of The Backrooms.
Description
Most of Level 539 is the indoor part of a ferry that seems to originate from China. The Level consists of non-linear rooms that range from common rooms to cargo holds. Some of these rooms are dangerous, as this Level has all kinds of hazards.
Level 539 has multiple decks that seem to become more dangerous the further you do down. Currently, there are four documented decks, which are all well-known by informal nicknames. These nicknames include The Habitable Deck, The Supply Deck, The Danger Deck, and The Blood Deck.
The Habitable Deck normally takes the form of ferry common rooms which have multiple seats, multiple tables, multiple televisions, etc. It is the safest deck of Level 539 since Life-Forms and other hazards are barely seen here. The only really dangerous hazards on this deck are the windows. Windows can only be found on The Habitable Deck and when looked out of, you can somewhat see an ocean through the darkness outside.

The Habitable Deck is home to around ten travelers, who are relatively docile. Objects are also scarce on this deck, forcing travelers on the Level to have to go down to The Supply Deck to search for supplies. In order to access these lower decks, you can find a stairwell behind a metal door.
The Supply Deck looks similar to The Habitable Deck, only it has no windows and has a few changes in design. It is a relatively dangerous deck, as entities can sometimes be found on this deck as well. These Life-Forms include Deathmoths, Facelings, and Clumps. However, supplies are bountiful on this deck due to the dangers of this deck, making it a worthy challenge for travelers to look for supplies.
The Danger Deck is where things get absurdly dangerous. This deck takes the form of multiple slim corridors and large rooms that can be considered cargo holds. These cargo holds contain cars, luggage, crates, and other kinds of storage material. Entities can be commonly found here, especially in cargo holds. It is suggested not to go here, even with the large supply count on the deck.
The Blood Deck is the least documented deck on Level 539, as it is known to be the most dangerous deck on this Level. The deck consists of only slim corridors with some small rooms sometimes appearing which are filled with all kinds of entities which this time include Smilers as well. It is also very dark on this deck and is partially flooded. As a result, it is advised to avoid this deck at all costs, as almost everyone who has entered The Blood Deck has never returned alive or sane.
Machinery can be heard in different places on Level 539, most notably within the walls. One crucial detail is that the further down you travel on this Level, the louder the machinery gets. This machinery may make it difficult to distinguish from entity noises, making it more difficult to survive.

Entrances
- You can enter Level 539 by simply finding a white sliding door on Level 500 and Level 138.
- Rare entrances include Level 1 and Level 248.
Exits
There are known to be different exits on each deck of Level 539.
- Finding a glass door on The Habitable Deck will take you to Level 36. The reason why it takes you here is unknown.
- Finding a fancy door on The Supply Deck will take you to Level 500.
- Finding a staircase with water at the bottom will take you to Level 17.
- Traveling far enough into the darkness on The Blood Deck will take you to Level 6.
