Level 60 is the 61st level of the Backrooms. It is quite the active level, with many residents of the Backrooms coming here to clean their clothing, bedding, and linens.
Description:
Level 60 is a sprawling complex of rooms reminiscent of a retro laundromat, complete with washing machines, drying machines, vending machines, and more detergent and dryer sheets than you could ever need. The machines do not accept any real world currency and instead function off of the featureless circles of metal that naturally occur within said machines; these can be obtained by breaking into them. It is generally too much of a hassle to harvest the water from the machines themselves, since by the time it is readily accessible, it has already been mixed with soap; instead, fresh Almond Water may be found in the various vending machines scattered across the level.
Colonies and Outposts:
While there are no permanent settlements on Level 60, a constant stream of people utilizing this level for its real world purpose ensures that most wanderers will encounter any number of small groups.
Entrances and Exits:
Entrances
Level 60 can be found by entering any laundromat in Level 11. Many are direct thresholds to this level, but real laundromats may also lead here if stayed in for long enough. Level 60 can also rarely be accessed by noclipping through the street in Level 9.
Exits
There are two ways to exit Level 60. The first, and safest, is to noclip directly into a running drying machine. This will take you back to Level 11. The other way is to travel deep into the laundromat, which could take several days. Eventually, you will encounter an entrance to a train station. Entering this train, and traveling down it, will take you to Level 61.
