Anonymous Wanderer: I'm recording this because I have found what I believe to be a new level. After finding an ornate ice-sculptured door embedded within Level 93, I found myself in an area I don't think anyone else has discovered before.
<The crunch of footsteps walking on snow can be heard>
Anonymous Wanderer: The area looks like some sort of city. There's hotels, buildings, shops, everything. It's all so grand, and everything looks like it was chiseled…like, chiseled carefully by some ancient society. I'm going to write an entry and upload it to the database. In the meantime, I will explore this mystical area.

The first photograph recovered of Level 930.
Level 930 is the 931st level of the Backrooms, and was discovered by an anonymous wanderer on an unknown date, with tape recordings found on 2/12/2026.
Description:
Appearing as a large subterranean city complex made entirely out of ice and snow, Level 930 is quite hidden; being obscured from view to most of the Backrooms’ inhabitants. The crystal blue, unending halls of ice are carefully chiseled with delicate patterns, thought to be meticulously crafted by whatever unknown beings built this place. Large pillars and smooth arches make up most of the level's architecture, filled with decorations such as sculptures and hanging chandeliers. Sparkles can be seen emitting from surfaces from time to time, auditorily manifesting as faint bell chimes or shimmers.
Despite the assumptions one may make due to the ice-ridden environment, the temperature is in actuality somewhat bearable; typically standing at around 42°F (~6°C). Despite the mild warmth, the ice and snow does not appear to melt whatsoever, even keeping its shape under intense heat. Many different kinds of structures line the frozen streets; mainly grand hotels and shops. These buildings - like the rest of the level - are spacious and empty, but nevertheless have many small rooms and thin hallways, housing ice furniture and beds made of insulated fabric and snow.
As for the former inhabitants that built Level 930, nobody truly knows what they were. Some carvings depict ancient humanoid beings made out of ice and snow, stacking snow blocks and digging holes into a cave. There is a possibility they had some connection to The Lost, worshipping similar gods and originating from a similar time period. Nowadays, there are little to no remnants of their former civilization, apart from the vague depictions mentioned previously. The only other beings that live here are ones that either traveled here from other levels; including both hostile entities and human explorers, but there are thought to be no other entities native to this level.
Many people who enter this place note witnessing strange occurrences and supernatural happenings. Chandeliers may swing on their own, ice tapping sounds can be heard in the distance, and doors open/close at random. It is possible that these phenomena are caused by spirits connected to the former civilization living on this level. While staying here for short periods of time can be beneficial, there is no consistent supply of food and electricity, further begging the question on what the ancient civilization used to rely on.

Wanderer: Hey all, I have been walking around for a bit, exploring the different structures around here. I've found a sort of trapdoor within one of the city's hotels. I'm going to go in and see where it takes me.
<Creaking sounds can be heard, before silencing into a screech>
Wanderer: *sigh* Here goes nothing…
<A rhythm of cold, concrete steps can be heard for a bit, then abruptly stopping>
Wanderer: Woah, everything's suddenly much colder. This basement is nothing like the rest of the area, it's…made of stone and ice.
<long pause>
Wanderer: There's…spirits around me. I can feel it. I'm definitely not alone here. Something is definitely watching me, but I don't think it's an entity. It doesn't feel completely…bad, per se? I do feel a bit unsettled nonetheless.

Conclusion: Following the release of this log, an entryway to a sort of "underground" area has been discovered. This section contrasts with the rest of Level 930, instead appearing as a maze of small concrete rooms covered in ice. It is notably colder than the rest of the level, lying at around freezing temperature.

While there are no current bases, outposts or communities on this level, there are - as mentioned previously - remnants of a former society of entities.

- Level 930's entrance is typically kept secret, said to be located somewhere on Level 93 via an ornate ice door.
- There are also several, unconfirmed entryways on levels with similar icy themes.
Exits:
- The exact method of egress is widely unknown, but some say that there is an entrance to Level 1 located within the underground area.
- It is also possible that you can exit via the way you entered.
