Level 987 is the 988th level of the Backrooms. It resembles a large, spacious library.
Description:
This library is massively comprised off of large spherical rooms with hallways and staircases connecting them all together. Most of the rooms in this level have downwards-facing windows, chairs and tables, and large spanning bookshelves.
Level 987 is mainly home to the hypnotics who both originate from and inhabit this level in abundance. However, other entities are very rarely spotted in this level, with the exception of Hounds which seem to have garnered occasional sightings.
Books
The books found in Level 987 all have randomized text, titles and title covers, save for its first and second pages, where the first lists its "volume", "shelf", "wall", and incompresensibly large "area" (assumed to be the code for each individual room), and the second is completely empty.

Colonies And Outposts
There are no recorded colonies or outposts on Level 987, although it could be possible to make one given that there would be a reasonable absence of hypnotics near the colony.
Entrances And Exits:
Entrances
To enter, it is confirmed that by crawling up some of the sewer grates found in Level 34, there is a chance that one can enter this room. It has been discovered that by going through some of the doors in Level -12 there is a near certain possibility of ending up here, which is the preferred route for many to this level. It is unconfirmed, however certainly possible, that one of the doors found in the Lost City at Level 51 could lead here.
Exits
To exit, it is possible to break the windows and fall down, where you will drop into Level 9. There are also a small amount of doors scattered throughout the area that, when opened, will either take you to either Level 11 or the dangerous Level 59.
