Sample of Object 23.
Twin Finger is a chocolate bar made of two sticks found in the Backrooms. It is a common food source that can randomly appear in filing cabinets.
Description:
Twin Finger is a chocolate bar that randomly materializes in the Backrooms. The bar's expiration date is irrelevant, as it does not spoil. The expiration date is a random date and can range from 1776 to 2106. Sometimes the dates include months not used in the standard Gregorian calendar.
Twin Finger comes in eighteen different flavors, each capable of causing various abnormal effects, such as improving the consumer's mental state or releasing a flare. The bar also comes in several sizes: Regular, Royal, and JUMBO. The bar does not melt at room temperature or when heated by the body, so it can be carried in pockets. It only begins to melt when overheated.
Dimensions:
Twin Fingers come in several sizes. The most common is the Regular, but you can also find the Royal and JUMBO bars. You are more likely to find the larger bars in the dangerous levels of the Backrooms, but you can still find them in the safe levels. The Royal bar has four sticks instead of two, and the JUMBO is a solid bar equivalent to the six split sticks of a Twin Finger.
Flavors:
Twin Finger comes in a variety of flavors, which are listed below:| Flavor | Safety | Effects |
|---|---|---|
| Milk Chocolate | Safe | The most common flavor. If you find a Twin Finger, it will most likely be this flavor. M.E.G. operatives and wanderers love it for its usefulness and carry large quantities of it on expeditions. |
| Dark Chocolate | Safe | Dark Chocolate flavored bars can be found in darker levels. It is rumored that some entities consume it as food, although this has not been proven. |
| Cookies and Cream | Safe | Cookies and Cream is a Twin Finger variant that can only be found in urban or suburban areas. As an added benefit, it slightly improves the consumer's mental state. It is more likely to be a King size than any other Twin Finger variant. |
| Mint | Safe | The mint bar is a fancy version of the Twin Finger that improves your breath. This is very useful since dental products are not readily available in the Backrooms. |
| Almond Water | Safe | Twin Finger Almond Water lives up to its promise: it significantly increases your sanity and has the same vanilla-almond flavor as almond water. |
| Royal Ration | Safe | "Twin Finger" with Royal Ration flavor has the same, but slightly reduced effect of Royal Rations . This bar is incredibly rare. Finding one is a huge success. Having one is a symbol of wealth and great experience in exploring the Backrooms. |
| Green | Anomalous | The flavor is labeled "Green" on the packaging. Apparently it tastes like the color green, although no one can accurately describe its taste with our current vocabulary. Researchers have compared it to "describing colors to colorblind people." |
| Styrofoam | Anomalous | This flavor is labeled as Styrofoam. It tastes like Styrofoam and may have some nutritional value. |
| ǝsɹǝʌǝʁ | Anomalous | The flavor name on the pack is upside down and the color scheme is in reverse compared to the normal color scheme of Twin Finger Milk Chocolate. Its flavor has been described as "outstanding", but it appears to have the same nutritional value as Twin Finger Milk Chocolate. |
| ZERO | Anomalous | The bar itself has a grey texture. It is tasteless, but still has some nutritional value. When you bite into it, it will not crunch. |
| Invisible | Anomalous | The wrapper itself is not invisible, but the chocolate is completely transparent. According to the researchers who tasted it, it tasted just like Milk Chocolate. The researchers are said to have dropped it when removing it from the package and were unable to find it, so they had to wait until they found another sample of the bar. |
| No Texture | Anomalous | The No Texture Twin Finger variant tastes like milk chocolate but has a "no texture texture" as it looks like a purple and black checkerboard. |
| Human Liver | Unsafe | The flavor is labeled "Human Liver" on the wrapper, which is probably true, but no one wants to taste the bar. This flavor is the closest thing to real meat in the Backrooms, as the entities react to it and eat it when they encounter it. |
| Rocky Road | Unsafe | Do not eat this type of Twin Finger, as it is made of asphalt with pieces of pebbles. It has been noted that sometimes it can have other minerals inside, including firesalt. |
| Car Battery Acid | Unsafe | This Twin Finger variant contains sulfuric acid and distilled water, as the name suggests. It is not intended for consumption, but should be used to generate electricity. |
| Chlorine | Unsafe | Do not open a Twin Fingers bar of this flavor under any circumstances, as it will release a toxic gas that can cause serious poisoning. It can be used as a chemical weapon, and the gas can cause catastrophic consequences in the "JUMBO" version . |
| Flare Gun | Unsafe | This bar will release a flare when broken, but despite being a signaling device, consuming it can be fatal. The flavor is very rare, so they are usually prized as collectibles. |
| Wiper | Unsafe | Do not, under any circumstances, eat this version of "Twin Finger". It has no use other than to clean glass, so it is often thrown away when found. |
