Object Number: 28
Description
Cans are small, sealed containers generally made of aluminum, that can be found on most dry and cool levels. These cans can vary in size and shape, but the most common is a small, ~6 (six) ounce unmarked can with a peel off lid, but can be found in many other forms and sizes. These forms can vary from paint cans, coffee cans (despite the name, these cans rarely contain coffee.), and beverage cans. Cans found in the backrooms can contain many, seemingly random things. These things can range from loose gravel, to baby carrots in sweet fluids. Their weight is generally disproportionate to its contents, at least until opened. Coffee cans tend to contain many small loose objects, similar in granule size to the coffee you would find in them.
Uses
Cans, due to their unpredictable nature are generally ignored, as the contents of most cans are generally inedible or useless. Their weight is generally impractical to have on your person, due to the lack of guaranteed use out of the can itself. If you're desperate, or lucky, or just have time to open a couple cans, they can contain food not accessible to most in the backrooms, such as peaches in syrup, whole apples, and dried meats.
